We provide several shipping options for delivering your order to any address within the 48 contiguous United States:

Delivery Estimates

We provide delivery estimate timeframes with each shipping option during checkout. These are based on the expected transit time of your order after it leaves our warehouse, but delivery times may vary due to factors like order processing time, delayed pick up by the shipping carrier, inclement weather, peak seasons, geographic location, incorrect or incomplete address information, and other variables beyond our control.

We fulfill orders as quickly as possible during our warehouse’s normal processing hours, Monday-Friday, before handing off shipments to our delivery partners. Orders placed after 2 PM ET on Friday through Sunday will not be processed until the following business day. Please allow additional transit time for Alaska, Hawaii, PO Boxes, US Territories, and more remote addresses.

If your delivery is delayed significantly beyond the estimate or expected time of arrival, please contact us immediately so we can investigate the situation.

Tracking Your Order

Tracking numbers for all shipping providers are provided in your order confirmation email and in your account Order History. Click the link or copy and paste the tracking number into the shipping carrier’s website anytime to view the up-to-date delivery status.

Signature Confirmation

Some expensive orders and instruments require a signature upon delivery confirmation. If no one is available to sign for the package, the carrier may hold your delivery at their location or attempt to deliver it again on the next business day.

Insurance & Loss/Damage Protection

Purchasing Additional Insurance

We automatically insure every shipment through the carrier according to the included coverage amount for free. See below for details on loss/damage protection policies. If you wish to add supplemental declared value insurance for your package while in transit, additional coverage can be purchased during checkout.

For valuable instruments, we strongly recommend opting into full declared value insurance coverage up to the instrument’s current market value, offered when you place your order. The charge is 1% of the total declared value amount you specify. This will significantly extend your protection when shipping expensive gear.

Filing An Insurance Claim

If your order arrives damaged due to mishandling by the shipping carrier, if any items are missing from the package, or if your delivery fails to arrive after an extended delay, please notify us as soon as possible and retain all packaging materials for inspection. We will help file an insurance claim or lost package investigation on your behalf and process appropriate refunds or replacements.

Loss & Damage Protection Policies

In the event of lost packages or damage caused by the shipping carrier, the amount of insurance coverage and compensation depends on which company transported your delivery. Here are the basic protection policies we have secured with each carrier:

Refunds, Replacements, & Returns

If any items do arrive damaged or missing, please save all packaging materials and contact us right away so we can file a claim or lost package search and process appropriate refunds or replacements for you. Replacement items may be fulfilled once insurance claims have been finalized.

In the case of missing or damaged deliveries, refunds can take between 7-10 business days after the claim investigation completes to process back to your original payment method.

Return Shipping

If you need to return an order for any reason, please check our Return Policy first for guidelines and information.

For domestic customers returning orders from the contiguous 48 states, we provide free return shipping labels upon request to make sending your items back simple and cost-free. Email us to request a prepaid return label with the carrier of your choice after initiating your product return with us online or via customer service. Print the label, affix it to your package, and drop off at any location of that shipping provider near you.

Return shipping charges will apply for orders from Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and other non-contiguous US territories. See International Returns below for our global customers.

Shipping Options, Speeds & Costs

Delivery speeds and prices vary substantially depending on your location. During checkout you will be presented with the available shipping carriers and options to choose from, along with price. Transit times range from approximately 3-10+ business days for most packages after departing our facility.

FedEx International is our most commonly used service offering reasonable delivery speeds to most destinations globally. DHL Express provides faster expedited options for an additional cost. Slower, more affordable postal mail services like USPS Priority Mail International may also display for some countries.

Large freight shipments typically ship via FedEx International Freight or other specialized carriers. Delivery speeds are longer for freight transport due to extended processing times, customs clearance, and separate international flights.

Import Fees, Duties & Taxes

Beyond shipping charges, customs authorities in the destination country may charge additional taxes, import fees, customs clearance fees, duties, tariffs, or other expenses required for packages coming through their jurisdiction. These additional international costs are the responsibility of the recipient since they are outside our control. Estimates for these fees will often display during checkout if provided by the shipping carrier.

Tracking International Orders

Tracking capabilities and package visibility varies substantially depending on destination and carrier. Shipping statuses may not update as frequently compared to domestic packages. Please allow extended delivery timeframes before reporting any delayed international shipments, as transit variability is higher across borders.

International Returns

Our standard return policy applies equally to international orders. However return shipping costs back to our facility are the responsibility of international customers in most cases. Contact us for specific instructions when you need to send international return packages back to us.
